With my career change the first thing I asked myself was, where can I buy affordable dresses? I was low on funds and could not enter the office in my old cooking clothes by any means. I couldn’t even pull off the fake till you make it with the wardrobe I had.
My search on finding where to buy affordable dresses began.
Discovering TEMU
Luckily I came across TEMU, they have great prices and the sizing charts are pretty much spot on. Of course, this I discovered after ordering a couple of dresses, one a size 8(M) and the other a 6(S), I did this just incase the sizes were not accurate.
Of course the 8(M) was too big, but the 6 (S) fit perfectly. I had chosen the Keyhole Tank Dress in a beautiful purple marble print for my 6(S), I was so very happy with the way the dress fit, I immediately ordered like 3 more dresses right away. The price was just right and the dresses were far above the quality I was expecting.
This dress falls just above the knee, and is suitable for any casual or business casual occasion. They usually do not cost more than $7-9 and if you are using a coupon they can be even cheaper, I have paid as little as 2.99. With shipping being free on all orders over $10, that is not an added expense to worry about when ordering, I generally spend more than $10.
I have like 5 of these keyhole tank dresses and plan to buy more as well. Not all of the styles come in the same material. That was one thing that kind of bummed me out a little. I really like the slick material that my marble dress came in. But I have some that are made from a heavy duty, but soft t-shirt like cotton-type of material.
One other thing that I noticed is that not all of the keyholes are the same size either. This is one of the many times that I complain about my breast size, if they were a bit bigger, this feature would not matter so much I don’t think. My issue is my bra showing in the keyhole, so I had to get some new bras for the dresses with a bigger keyhole.
Aside from the keyhole itself not being uniform in size, I have no other complaints about these dresses. They are comfortable and beautiful, and I have been complimented on every one that I have worn.
My favorite thing about this dress, aside from the fantastic bargain, is that it is available is so many different colors and patterns. It is like the little black dress with attitude.
They are super easy to care for as well. No dry cleaning, or special handle instructions, just wash, dry, and hang up. I am pretty sure you could keep them in a drawer as well, they do not seem to wrinkle easily. I have had no issues with shrinking or fading either.
TEMU’s Return Policy and Shipping
TEMU’s return policy is hands down the best I have heard of. Remember I was telling you that I ordered a dress that ended up being too big. Well, when I went to return that dress, TEMU refunded my money and told me to keep the item as well, I was truly shocked with that.
Not many merchants refund your money and allow you to keep the item. I gifted that dress to a co-worker that was in need, and I felt very good about the whole deal. My co-worker fell in love with the dress and also shops with TEMU now.
As I stated above, shipping is free on all orders over $10. I have not placed an order that included shipping as of yet. Just when I think there is only one thing I need, I find two more that I just have to buy, and before I know it I have met the free shipping requirements.
TEMU Makes Shopping Less Financially Painful
When I discovered TEMU, I was broke like a bad joke. Finding the deals I found was life changing for me at the time. I was able to start my new job looking professional and be able to put food on the table at the same time, and did not go into debt on credit cards either.
I will always shop with TEMU now, the prices are fantastic and then you get coupons on top of that, and great shipping rates too. When I find great products at bargain prices, that company will get my business for sure.
Shop TEMU today, you won’t regret it. Shopping with TEMU was less financially painful than most discount stores and I was satisfied with all items and the ones I was not (which was like 3 items) have all been fully refunded and regifted.
There is another added bonus to shopping with TEMU, they plant trees with every purchase made. That’s right, they give back to the community too, and in a fabulous way!

With the sizing, I have found it to be very accurate, my very first order I tested that. I ordered a size too big as I usually have to go at least one size larger than my size. Well, with my first order, I ended up having to return my dress as it was too big, I reordered my actual size, and the dress that arrived, and every item after that has fit perfectly.
I truly understand the fear of the sizing issue when purchasing online. Just rememeber to read all the reviews, so far, that has not failed me yet.

I adore the fact that TEMU offers sustainable and ethical products to shop. As far as their packaging, I have noticed that they attempt to get as many items in one bundled package as possible, without damaging the products, thus using less packing materials.
As far as manufacturing goes, TEMU is not a manufacturer, they are more like a huge affiliate themselves. They source out the products at wholesale prices and cut the middleman out that would mark up the prices. This process cuts a lot of the normal travel of products and of course, cuts the costs to customers in the end.
